Staci Rizzo Family Palliative/Hospice at Home Fund

Staci Rizzo's battle with terminal cancer has moved to its final stage: Palliative/Hospice at-home care.
Many of you stood "Staci Strong," alongside Staci and the Rizzo Family, offering love and support in numerous ways. This next and final step is inexplicably challenging. We ask on behalf of the Rizzo Family that you Stand Staci Strong once more, and give generously to a family who has given so much to our Banks community. Our goal is to raise $20,000...here's how your generous gift will help:
1. Financial assistance so husband Nick may stay home and care for Staci. A long-time teacher, coach and mentor to our Banks Brave youth and teams, Nick Rizzo will be missing several weeks of work, unpaid, to care for Staci during at-home palliative/hospice care. All paid time off in recent weeks has been exhausted due to escalated doctor appointments, chemotherapy, emergency room visits and surgeries.
2. Financial assistance so family necessities may continue. Electricity, water, cell phone bills, mortgage, auto expenses -- bills show no mercy in times of need. Providing a durable home base for the Rizzo daughters is priceless during this time.
3. Financial assistance for unexpected expenses. Nick and Staci are a strong and resourceful couple. But cancer ravages not just people - it upends even the best Rainy Day Fund savers with endless medical expenses.
Staci and Nick are so appreciative of family, friends and community members who have supported them through the years. They admit in a quiet moment it is difficult asking for help once more -- but the finality of the situation has been overwhelming and taxing on all fronts.
Let's show them our support!
Family, friends, Banks Braves and our connected communities: the palliative/hospice at-home fundraising goal is $20,000. NOW is our time to give.
