We Play: Playground Project

Our student population has increased by 50% in the past 20 years. Our current playground is not large enought for 2 grade levels to have recess at the same time. Our goal is to renovate and expand our current playground for grades K-3 and create a new playground for grades 4-6. This will cost us about $130,000 including equipment, installation, earthwork and ground covering.  Play is an important part of the elementary education experience.  Play allows students to make decision, compromise, and collaborate. Play builds leadership skills and friendships.
