A lift for Josh
Donation protected
Josh is an amazing little boy with a very infectious smile ,and a cute adorable laugh .
Josh n his twin brother Theo were born in June 2008 , at 17 weeks pregnant we were given the news that our twins had contracted TTTS , twin to twin transfusion syndrome
Our twins shared a sac , theo was squashed into a 1/3 n josh had 2/3.
We were monitored very closely as ttts can be fatal or cause disabilities to one or both twins.
Josh suffered a brain bleed in uterol which resulted in a diagnosis of asymmetric quadrapelgic cerebral palsy with central hypotonia
We are fundraising to provide Josh with a throughfloor lift so he can sleep upstairs in a room he shares with Theo.
We currently carry Josh upstairs to bed which is getting increasingly harder as he grows and gets heavier and at the moment we dont have another option that is suitable.
Our local council will provide a grant of 30,000 to enable us to build a downstairs extension to house a bathroom/ bedroom this alone is goin to cost around 49,000 a shortfall of 19,000.
We would like Josh to be able to access upstairs if he wishes too .
In life we take alot of things for granted sitting , standing , walking unsupported Josh requires help in everything he does.
We are fully commited to providing Josh with everything to make his life a very happy and fulfilled one ! x
