Weather Balloon Science Data Flight

Donation protected
I am an amateur radio, or ham radio, operator (callsign N4BWR). I am also a space and science enthusiast. Over the past six years, I have launched three high-altitude weather balloons (including one that we completely lost when the batteries died).

The very first flight was an awareness project that I started to raise awareness for a nonprofit I ran at the time. Through a really unusual and long story , that mission reached a ton of people, and got some people very interested in science.

At a local SKYWARN certification class, I was talking with a meteorologist at our local National Weather Service office. He mentioned submitting any data we gathered on our flights.

I would like to continue working with my local amateur radio club , and have at least one balloon launch this year. However, the helium and the balloons themselves are fairly expensive. I have already contributed GoPro cameras and amateur radio tracking equipment to the cause, and a friend and fellow club member has contributed batteries.

If you can help us reach our goal, it would cover the helium and balloon costs for a few launches. I would also like to purchase some inexpensive Arduino components to log temperature, humidity, and other weather data.  Thank you for your support.
