My first American Vogue Story  in Vogue View, was I ever excited!

Hi Friends and Family and Collectors!

I have been working on a book for many years. People have asked me to , and I want to tell my story.
I am jewelry desigsner and artist. I had a fantastic carreer in the 1970's-1980's in fashion jewelry .They said I was number ONE in my field!
I was on Oprah Winfrey's show as her favorite jewerlry designer. We had more then 7 Vogue covers and tons of press all over the World. The Walt Disney Company gave me a liscence to produce the characters from Disney as jewelry ,scarves, and more. We were making 3 million dollars and year and I had 45 employees in 1990.

The story of why we went out of business is in my book.
It's an amazxing story, even the story behind the Oprah Winfrey show is there.


We were also granted a liscence for the Wizard of OZ which was so much fun and sold out. We did a scarf too that I list on eBay.
A few years ago Vera Wang called and asked us to do a Tiara for her perfume Princess. It appeared in many print ads as well as on TV. It was a rental so after the shoot was over they returned my crown and I sold it to a girl also named Wendy in Austrailia through eBay.


I got very sick this year and had an intense surgery with many complications and was in the hospital for a whole month . For three weeks I was on a feeding tube in my stomach. At one point I had a blood hemorage from my esaphougus and was violently vomiting blood. All I could think of was I never finshed my book and what would happen to all my art and jewelry that I had never made arrangements for.
I didn't know then if I would live or die.
Thanks G-d I am getting well again, and starting to eat more solid food. I was so close to my emotions then that all I could do was write. I filled up spiral books of writing and my life and my dreams.
When I got home from the hospital I started putting it in chapters and now I am ready for an editor.
The first person I thought might work out called and said she didn't think she should take the job as it was too Avant Gard for her.
So I am looking for an editor and the money to pay him or her.

Underneath my amazing carreer was my battle with mental illness that no one knew about. I am bi-polar and under medication am quite happy and stable. I also have a panic disorder, and a suicidal nature and have been hospitalized twice after suicide attempts.
For many years I was afraid to tell my true story, but by now I want to. Many people have the same struggle and I am not ashamed about it anymore.

I have experienced so much love and appreciation in my life and live in gratitude for what I have. I am so happy now and greatful for my life.
I want to share it with you.

I am trying to add a sample chapter of my book for you to read, but I am having trouble loading it. I will soon when I can figure it out!
