Wendy's CEIBS Summer MBA Program

Hello Beautiful Friends and Family,
Today marks the beginning of a transformative journey! My family and I have sacrificed countless hours, sleeps, jobs, securities, and comforts to see my siblings and I thrive in fulfilling our dreams and passions. We have treaded countless waters and crossed many borders so that my generation could have the freedom to sit in a classroom and simply learn (my heart will forever be grateful).
Now, there is another great water to cross and seat to fill... I am embarking on a journey to obtain my MBA (Masters of Business Administration) in an unconventional way. As a prospective MBA student, it is my interest to gain an education that will develop me as a global leader and help companies' create ethical organizational cultures. Thus, I came across the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

As I landed upon this opportunity, I discovered CEIBS' Summer Pre-MBA Boot Camp, which is an "ideal program to let 'student get their toes wet' before they take the MBA dive." This program will serve as a stepping-stone (my layover before the MBA); it will help increase my global competence and teach me how to bridge the gaps between the east and west as it regards to business. The program is taking place during the second week of July.
After going through a vigorous application and interview process, I was among the 20% of applicants that were accepted into this program! More information on the program and what I will be learning can be found on their website here.
There is still much work to be done before I can pack my bags and fly to the beautiful city of Shanghai this summer. In order to pursue this life-changing opportunity I need to raise all of the funds this week. My cost for the program registration is $1,200 USD. However, additional expenses such as the round-trip airfare, lodging at a hotel, food, health insurance, travel insurance, visa, and all other activities raises my total to $3,300 USD.
The deadline by which I must have all funds collected and all paperwork processed by April 30th, this coming Thursday.
Prayerfully consider if you feel led to
'travel' with me on this journey by sowing into my education. I would appreciate your contribution both spiritually and financially as I pursue this incredible opportunity.
