Czuwaj! Be prepared!

Once upon a time, among the mine chimneys, there was a small village of which only a few had known... in this village - in Czyżowice  from Poland - ten young people had (and still have) a dream…


This summer, US scouts organize their National Jamboree, in which we, 16 Troop in Czyżowice, have a dream to take part in. We are young students who believe their dream could come true...

Jamboree will gather 40 000 participants, and we want to be a part of it. And here we need your help...


The total cost of travel for 10 people is 100 000 PLN  that gives about 25 000 USD. 

Each of the attenders have to pay the registration fee - $1225 (about 5 000 PLN), including the cost of the flight (approximately 5 000 PLN), not to mention visa and transport costs already in America.



2017 NSJ decided to give us a scholarship that will cover the registration fees for one patrol.
It's around 12350$ half of whole cost! But still we need another half...

„Be prepared" is a greeting for the American scouts, which, like our polish „Czuwaj” means "be always ready". We are ready to embrace our dream journey and to meet scouts from around the Earth at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia.



Time is short but we believe that thanks to you we will meet our brothers in the USA on July 19!
