Remembering Billy

My mission is to vindicate my son's tragic death from a heroin overdose and use that pain for gain to help others.  Billy will not be remembered as just another statistic. He was a light to many and will continue to be. I will carry that torch for him.

Coupled with others who are passionate in saving souls this is just the beginning of my quest to help provide light to those in the dark, whether it’s the addict who has nowhere else to go or the loved one that suffers. I was there once seeking help with no one to turn to. If I can offer a solution, a reference, assistance to help someone that is exactly what I will do, in honor of my son.

We need to know what is going on in our community. This epidemic is out of control. We can no longer turn our cheeks and think it will just go away. It won't. It is happening to your neighbor, your co-worker, your family and friends. Heroin does not discriminate.

I will be working with local organizations and one to be formed that will provide help to those in need.

Billy, I will miss you every second of every day but rest assured heroin has not heard the last of me.
