Craig Shotwell -Why the violence?

Craig Shotwell lost his life to a stranger with a gun. Why the violence? its an eternal question... This man who loved with his heart, served the community, gave freely of his time and energy,  lost his life yesterday. As usual, he was helping others all around Maryland. However, Sadly, on this day 5/7/2018, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. While working in a home in Brookeville, Md, his years were cut short by the violence of a total stranger. 
I knew Craig well and he would do anything for his kids, he spoke about that on a daily basis.  Now he has been taken away.  This fund allows some of his dreams to continue, which was only to help his children attain every dream they could imagine.  His 2 wonderful children, with amazing gifts and talents have lost a most exemplary father.  I commit as his friend to help his kids continue to find joy in the great pleasures of life which he had taught them. They love horses, reptiles, outdoor living, hiking, sports, camping, and other activities. A financial gift will help these wonderful kids with education/college, activities, and to pursue their dreams  to become the wonderful people that will follow in his footsteps serving the community around them.  Craig gave and gave more, and then went on the internet, to teach and teach more, freely teaching others who wanted to know about home improvements. If you have been blessed by this amazing servant/friend please give to his children. He didn't deserve to go so soon and he will be missed by so many. His legacy lives on in his "Contractor Craig" youtube video series. He was a terrific teacher!
