William's final send-off
Donation protected
Sorry for all the updates, I just wanted to outline where your money is going. Thanks to your generosity I can pay for William's spaceflight in full! I will be contacting Celestis this afternoon to finish payment. Celestis Memorial Spaceflights will be about $3,000. Cremation, Urns, and Celebration of life will be collectively $2,000. The remaining $1,000+ will be donated to the YMCA Oz program ASAP. I must finish writing a letter to them so I can make sure all the funds go to the right place. Thank you again for all of your help, love, and generosity. He was such a great man, I'm so grateful that he will get the awesome send off he deserves.
Thank you so much for your generosity. I have increased our goal to $7,000. Anything remaining after launch costs will be donated to the YMCA Oz program that helped make William the great man he was. William-Manley was an incredibly huge existence. He touched many people with his generosity, humor, selflessness, wit, intelligence, passion, and love. We are deeply saddened to have lost this incredible human being but are also so fortunate to have been able to experience and to some small aspect influence him. There is no greater compliment than seeing an incredible human being take an element that they enjoy from your personality and begin using it themselves. Many have been positively influenced by him as well. He was always willing to lend a hand, make you laugh, or sometimes simply listen. Always quick with a joke, or witty retort there were not many situations where you were not laughing around Will. Sometimes, you had to run for the hills when he really started laughing… as it became very odorous. Will loved all animals and had cats, but personally I think he was more of a dog person because he was very excitable and able to express sincere passion for whatever had come up. We are launching this gofundme to assist with the sudden financial hardship when dealing with the following: Memorial service Cremation Launching his ass into space (actual wording) The memorial service will be hosted at Journey Community Church. September 15th at 10:00AM. This will be a come as you are (casual) morning service. Will would not want us to make a huge fuss about this, but he doesn’t really get a choice now. We are requesting any pictures, comments, quotes, or short stories about Will to be sent to [email redacted]. We will be accepting these through Tuesday, September 11th, 2018. We will have some of Will’s favorite things, inside jokes, a memorial video, candy, and speaking. Will always had a passion for space. We have found a service called Celestis Memorial Spaceflights, that will launch cremated remains from a New Mexico Air Force Base. This service will allow in person witnessing of the launch and will also be webcast so others can participate remotely. Please help us send him off in the best way we can, In the way that he would have wanted.
