When I Grow Up... I Want to Walk.

My name is Sean and I was born with cerebral palsy.
I need a life-changing operation in the United States and I need your help.
I was born at about 7pm on Saturday the 28th of August 2010. I don't remember much about that day, as it was a long, tough day.
You see, while I was on my way into this world, I couldn't wait and decided I wanted to hurry things along. Boy, did I hurry things. Two months before I was supposed to come along, I thought I would give everyone a big surprise.
What I do know is that I came out fighting.
Being very little, I got tired and while fighting my way out, I had lost a bit of oxygen for a little while. This caused certain parts of my brain to shut down (not the super powers parts of course) and caused a periventricular leukomalacia or PVL for short.
This means that the signals in certain parts of my brain do not work so well and it effects certain powers that I have, such as walking, running and jumping. Soon after my first birthday, the doctors said I have cerebral palsy. My form of CP is classified primarily as spastic diplegia, meaning that both my legs are very, very tense most of the time. But that doesn't matter, because with my superpowers I can fly !
I have been fighting every day since to be the Super Hero that I am today. I would like to be able to walk independently, run, climb and jump though. An operation in the USA could be helping get closer to that goal. WILL YOU WALK WITH ME through that journey?
