Windsor Central Little League
Windsor Central Little League is a Recreational and Travel Baseball Program for children ages 4 to 16. Last year our Clubhouse was torn down because the land was needed to accommodate the new library being built. In the Interim we were put in a trailer and a storage box until the new building can be completed. The snack bar trailer and storage box were broken into at the park. ALL of the snack bar stock was stolen along with cash and equipment. It's the 2nd time this has happened to our Organization while waiting for the new building. We are a Non Profit Organization and rely on help from local businesses for Sponsorship and have to fund raise the rest of the money required to run the program. It is financially devastating to the children's program when something like this happens. The first time this happened we did not ask for help but now we are in a position where we need to. The Windsor Police are investigating but have no leads as of yet. I have been a volunteer for this organization for 20 years and have a very strong support group. We are going to keep working very hard to get back up and running. The snack bar is a very large source of revenue for the league. It helps us afford the equipment, uniforms, umpires, diamonds, banquet, trophies, insurance and much more needed to run the kids program. It also helps us, help the lower income families children play baseball. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated by the Windsor Central Little League Families.
