Wishes for Puerto Rico
Donation protected
As part of their Destination Imagination service learning challenge, the Hurricane Helpers (Terrace Park Elementary 4th graders) have created a program they all “Wishes for Puerto Rico” to help kids affected by Hurricane Maria. They have been raising money by selling handmade ornaments filled with “good wishes” and also collecting school supplies. They are sending care packages to 3rd grade students at the Juanita Garcia Peraza school in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
As word travels about their project, many people have expressed an interest in donating towards their program so the Hurricane Helpers can help grant even more good wishes to kids in Puerto Rico.
Donate today! Money raised will help send school supplies and maybe a gift or two to students at Juanita Garcia Peraza School. With your help, The Hurricane Helpers hope to expand their program to other grades or other schools in Puerto Rico.
