My name is Tayvian johnson, I am a student at Augustana College and a member of the Phi Omega Phi fraternity. I love music of all kinds and I really enjoy making my own, it's one of my passions.
Another one of my passions is helping people and I found a way to put those together. On November 15th, I will be having a charity concert at my school for the Martin Luther King Center. Due to tax cuts in Illinois, they lose most of their funding next year and that program is essential for many children. The Martin Luther King Center provide many essential programs and meals for these children and I am doing my best to make sure they can continue that.
All money from the concert and this gofundme will go directly to the MLK center in efforts to keep the program up and running. I was in the same position as many of these kids and without the right guidence I wouldn't be where I am today. Please help me give these kids the best chance for success, thank you!
