Dear friends,


I will keep it short. Most of you know that a couple of years ago I started a company called Roguemark that currently provides high-quality film production services in the Triangle. While the company is doing well for a business-to-business service-centered startup, I have incurred a staggering amount of personal debt in the process of bringing it up. Furthermore, during the current period of growth, the company cannot afford to pay me back the money I invested. For the time being, it’s me against a mountain of secured and unsecured debt and personal loans.

There are any number of struggles that I’ve faced while in this precarious financial position. After using all the options I had at my disposal, it was happenstance that triggered the need for this campaign: my car needs its brake pads replaced before I can safely drive it around. This forces me to make decisions about what other bills I will be late with this month. I am unsure how to properly articulate the way I feel about the situation. My home and my health provide the stability that I need to keep going and my car is an indispensable tool.
