WNTE to Seattle Radio Convention
Throughout the years, Mansfield University's radio club (which is an actual functioning radio station used to teach audio broadcasting to Mansfield students and community members) has gone to broadcasting conventions. This year, we asked for a trip to a broadcasting convention in Seattle, Washington for the four students who help lead the rest in running the station. This is an amazing opportunity not only for learning all there is to learn at a broadcasting convention, but also to meet other radio clubs from across the country, and see how they run their stations.
The trip was approved and funded. This being said, all of the costs are not covered by the Student Government Association. Any donations will go straight into covering what the SGA cannot.
All supporters of WNTE have our eternal gratitude. After the convention, each member will write about how it affected them and will supplement the stories with pictures; we will post these on our website.
