Women Building Workshops

Hello! My name is Laura and I empower women and girls through DIY building workshops in the Columbia River Gorge. I am offering 2 woodworking workshop series this fall and another this winter where women and girls will learn how to safely use hand and power tools in a supportive environment, building confidence to tackle projects on their own. We will start with a beginner class project to build familiarity with tools, materials and methods. Participants will then have open  shop time to work on their own projects with instructor support. I am also planning a larger building project next year where women and girls in the community will have the opportunity to build a tiny house through a series of workshops! The money from this fundraiser will be used for workshop development, tools, materials and scholarships to keep costs low and accessible for participants.
