The Warriors are on the march once again.
This time our destination is London, to drink tea with the Queen and win the LDN 9s while we are at it.

We are asking for your kind donations to help us fund our trip.
All of our international tournaments have been self funded as well as reliant on donations from supporters across the globe.
Below are 2 options in which you can assist us:
Option 1
For every $100 aud (p+p included) donated we will send you 1x exclusive Wan Papua Warriors sublimated training singlet .
All Sizes are available Small, Med, Large, XLarge.
This is a brand new design featuring the bird of paradise as well as the southern cross from the PNG flag capturing the essence of the teams Wan Papua message.
Please allow upto 6 weeks for delivery of Singlet as we are ordering in bulk and printing time is about 4-5 weeks.
Option 2
For $30aud (P+P inc) we will send you an exlcusive Wan Papua Warriors " Freedom Fighters" T shirt available in Blue or Red. All sizes available S, M, L, XL.
When making your donation please message and specify which option you are taking.
All the money donated will go directly to the funding of the trip and cove

Team History
Wan Papua Warriors originally began as the West Papua Warriors in 2015. It was founded by brothers Tala & Tomasi Kami and their friend Edmund Tapo.
The aim of the team was to use rugby league as a platform to spread awareness of the West Papua struggle for Freedom.
Since the inception WPW have played all over PNG as well as in Brisbane and in Sydney.
They made History in 2016 against the Phillipines Tamaraws when they became the first ever sporting team to represent West Papua in an official international Sporting event.
Since then the team has grown from strength to strength, winning the QLD Kokomo 9s tournament in Brisbane and also placing second in the international 9s in Sydney.
In 2018 it was decided that the team would now be called WanPapua Warriors to reflect the players belief that West Papua and PNG are one People.
This trip to London will be the biggest of this teams history as they prepare for the opportunity to make a big splash on the world stage.
