Ginger's Accident Recovery

On May 28th, 2015 Ginger Speer was involved in a serious motorcycle vs. car accident. The driver of an SUV pulled out in front of her from a parking lot, causing Ginger, and her motorcycle to collide full broadside into the SUV. She was life flighted to Memorial Hermann Hospital with serious, and life threatening injuries. Her list of injuries include fractured skull, brain bleed, facial fractures to her entire upper jaw, complete loss of hearing in her right ear and partial in her left ear, broken clavicle, seperated shoulder, multiple breaks in her pelvic bones, and many bumps and severe bruises. I am happy to report that she is still with us and has undergone her first surgery in which they repaired the facial fractures and reattached her upper jaw with plates and screws. She has since been moved to a rehabilitation facility where she is struggling to get out of her wheelchair and walk again. She is in a tremendous amount of pain but fights through it with everything she has even with the tears streaming down her face. Needless to say, she is one brave and tough lady. She has a tough fight ahead of her but she is determined and will prevail. Unfortunately it will be  some time before she can resume her job duties as a new home sales counselor in the Katy area and will need some financial assistance for the next several months. The hospital and rehabilitation bills are astronomical to say the least and she will need help with her living expenses, rent, special dietary needs, medications, home health care, COBRA payments, and such. She is not the type of person who would ever ask for help for herself, but in fact helps others freely.  So with that being said, I have set this fund up for her because I know she is going to need our help. Any and all assistance is greatly needed and appreciated. Even if you cannot donate funds, a like and a share on social media might make all the difference in the world for this lovely lady.
