Help Debi

Most of you have probably heard the awful, unbelievable news by now that our dear friend, Debi Boyette, was injured in a drive by shooting on January 19th.
Debi was seeing a band at the Crocodile when shots were fired outside of the venue, and she was hit in the abdomen. She has undergone surgery, and she is getting better--resting and recovering and surrounded by incredible love and support from her family and friends. So many of you have reached out to find out how you can help that we started this page.
While our good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes will hopefully make Debi heal faster, we can also all help by contributing. There will be medical expenses (she will be in the hospital for at least a week), lost income from her not being able at work at her fabulous store, Le Merde, and other unforeseen expenses.
Debi is a light, a boundlessly creative soul, and a true friend who is defined by kindness. While no one deserves to experience this kind of tragedy, having it happen to someone as full of love for others as Debi is truly unbelievable. I know Debi and Colin will be joining the fight against gun violence in any way they can, and we can all help them in that effort once Debi gets better. In the meantime, let's all pitch in and crush this fundraising goal!
