Hey guys! Didn’t really plan to do this but I need any help I can get
So a little bit about myself... My name is Karina Centeno, I am the oldest child in my family, the first to graduate and go to college! Yeah i know you are probably thinking “Wow! her parents must be SOOO proud”, well not exactly... My mother only cared about me graduating and didn’t really care if i would go to college. So guess who was the motivation? Me, myself, and I lol I was the one who studied, who listened, who cared if i got an 80 or below on any assignment, my parents NEVER checked my grades or how I was doing. I was the one who wanted to go, study more. I LOVE to learn (i’m not kidding) so the fact that I have the opportunity to go to Texas State University and learn to get my BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) Excites me sooo much!! Home has always been a rough environment, even if my own mother would tell me how I wouldn’t do it, I pushed to do better, to get to where I am now... The stress of having to pay so much for college almost stopped me even the words i would get from family but thankfully I recieved a scholarship where I will not have to worry on paying so much for my tuition .. but due to a situation I was unable to accept a part of the Scholarship Aid.. I will need to pay $2,049.96 before class starts (August 23rd) or else my classes will be cancelled. I have been working two jobs but I do not have enough to cover this plus books, parking and necessities. I plan on working as soon as school starts but I need this or as much help that I can get before I start school. Any donation can help even just a $1. Not many have this great opportunity like I do, I worked and I plan on proving those who didn’t believe me wrong. i’m truly blessed for it all and i hope you understand a bit more why school is important to me, I want to achieve my goals.
