We Support the Troops Care Packages

We Support the Troops Association has been sending vital care packages to servicemen and women overseas every month for over a decade. There are many basic necessities that become unavailable to the men and women whose daily sacrifices are easily ignored or forgotten by those of us who are able to take advantage of their commitment. While our nation has always been a conglomeration of differing ideals, religions, cultures, and practices, our military has stood unwaveringly to uphold each citizen’s right to pursue their identity. There are many ways we should appreciate their vow to protect our liberties, but gratitude, acknowledgement, and concern have all too often been brushed aside out of inconvenience, anger, or ignorance. While our lives may be far from perfect, it is important to remember that those who fight for our freedom are individuals with families, friends, aspirations, and needs.

At We Support the Troops, our biggest packing event of the year is in November to send the holiday spirit to our servicemen, servicewomen, and canines during the month of December. Typically, we send socks, flushable wipes, candy, books, letters of encouragement and thanks, snacks, hygiene products, and more. However, we have suffered significant financial setbacks that hinder the possibility of sending anything at all. Any donation you are able to contribute would be tremendously appreciated by our selfless recipients.
