My literary historical novel, DARK LADY: A NOVEL OF EMILIA BASSANO LANYER, is being published by She Writes Press. Publication date is June 27. This book tells the story of Emilia Bassano Lanyer, who survived mistresshood, a romance with William Shakespeare, poverty, misogyny, and life in Elizabethan and Jacobean England to publish a book in 1611—one of the first by a woman—that makes a bold statement for women’s equality.
To help meet expenses of editing and publication, I’m doing a GoFundMe campaign. My goal is to raise $12,000.
