Wu Tang Clams broken leg fund :(

Hi friends. My name is Wu Tang Clam #36 of the Chicago Red Hots (formerly and still to some Rosie the Wrecker of Tulsa, OK) Some of you might also know me from the Chicks in Bowls Chicago chapter.

Well, after nine years of playing Roller Derby it finally happened to me. Saturday Sept. 19th I broke my fibula in three places, my ankle, and twisted a ligament in my right leg.

Although I know playing roller derby comes with risk I was not prepared for this to collide with my recent life changes. Just a month ago I decided to leave my job of 13 years for a new career. I made the decision to not compete with my team at the USARS 2015 National tournament for fear of being injured and not being able to start my new job. Having been at my new job for only 3 weeks I'm now uninsured and unsure of my future employment.  

I'm so blessed to have so many friends and acquaintances in and outside of roller derby. I've never been out of work or without insurance so I'm very unsure of my future. Any donation is much appreciated and will help me with basic necessities including rent and groceries. Even if unable to donate a "share" can go a long way. I thank everyone for the well wishes, support and advice I've gotten thus far.
