Starting "Wyatts 2nd chance ranch"

My name is Nick and my partner Steve and I live in Bastrop, Tx with our son Wyatt. Wyatt came into our lives through the foster care system and has been a truly amazing addition to our lives. Luckily for us, his adoption will be finalized very soon! He's been such a blessing to our lives, we couldn't stop there. We have also begun rescuing animals in need of a good home and have been fortunate enough to have the resources to do so. Some of our rescue animals include a turkey, mini horse, ewe, Great Pyrenees, parrot, and four rescue cats. Our most recent rescue came to us after hurricane Harvey. My sister saved a baby calf that was near death from the flood waters of Houston. Unfortunately, the calf's mother did not survive. We picked the calf up after the storm passed and have bottle raised her ever since. We would like to continue to provide homes for animals in need because we have the facilities to do so (6 acres and several barns/holding areas). However, we have reached our financial limit for caring for these animals.
So we are asking for your help! We'd eventually like to turn our rescue into so much more than just an animal rescue. We'd like to provide other foster families in the Texas area an opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of working with animals. We'd like to rehabilitate sick or disabled animals. The bottom line is we'd like to do so much more. And I know with some help, we will be able to! Wyatt will grow up learning a compassion for animals, and just like Wyatt got a second chance at life.. so can many more of these animals! So please help kickstart Wyatt's 2nd Chance Ranch!
As a first step, funds would initially be used to help cover the expenses of establishing quarantine areas, shelters, water buckets, etc. to make sure that we have the proper facilities in place. Once this is complete, we would like to rescue another cow from slaughter or auction to provide a companion for Harvey and have committed to taking in 2 more adult goats that were FFA projects and who's future would be uncertain otherwise.
