Help Us Save Our Family Home

Dear Friends and Family,
Many of you may know that our Mom, Pamela Laura Berrong, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was 59 years old. What many may not know is that the home in which our Mom lived has been in our family for over 75 years. Our grandparents were very poor and were finally able to purchase land, and were able to do so on Fendt Street. The land was a part of the historic Fendt Farms.
Our Mom’s health had diminished over the years, in particular since her near fatal car accident in 1996. Upon her death we discovered that, even though she had tried her best, many things fell to the wayside. Unfortunately we have found that she was severely behind in property taxes, attorney fees and other household expenses.
It is our hope to continue to have the property remain as a family legacy, and we are humbly asking for assistance to help us cover her unexpected, outstanding debt. We appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
Our Mom was not only our Mother, but she was a surrogate Mother to many people who found themselves without a stable home environment. She had an open-door and an open-heart policy to those who needed her. She did not turn them away.
It is our hope to save our family home so that we can restore the land to its former glory, as it once boasted beautiful, lush gardens, overflowing with flowers and vegetables. And with your help, we will be able to do just that.
We wish you all a wonderful Holiday Season. And please, remember to kiss your loved ones and tell your family that you love them, because you never know what tomorrow may bring.
With much gratitude,
Nicole Berrong, Matthew Olschanski and Michael Hughes Jr
