Mr. McLeod's EnChroma Glasses

Calling all Charlotte Christian School students, alums, and families!
For those who don't know me, my name is Kyndall Sutherland and I graduated from CCS in 2014. Recently I was reading an article about the new EnChroma Glasses that correct colorblindness. I immediately thought of Mr. Jim McLeod, the Upper School Biology and Astronomy teacher at CCS.
Mr. McLeod, or Daddy McLeod as he is lovingly called, has Red-Green colorblindness and these glasses would enable him to finally see all the colors he's missed out on. I reached out to some CCS faculty and his wife, who informed me that Mr. McLeod has wanted to buy some of these glasses for himself, but they were just too expensive.
This is where you guys come in. If we all come together we can easily raise enough money to not only buy Mr. McLeod some Enchroma glasses, but also to send him and his wife, Judy, to see his favorite musical, Wicked, when it comes to Charlotte this January so he can finally appreciate it in a way he never has before.
Mr. McLeod had a huge impact on my life while I was at CCS, and I still carry many of the lessons he taught us with me today. He did so much more than just teach us the building blocks of protein (we will forever remember that they are amino acids), he spent time at the beginning of each class to give us a devotion (like God and Dog) or spend time praying with us and teaching us how to approach God with our needs. He went above and beyond for his students, and I will always be grateful to him! I know many of you feel the same way, so this is our chance to give back! Every little bit helps, so please contribute what you can and send this along to other CCS family that would like to help!
One last, VERY IMPORTANT THING: THIS IS A SURPRISE FOR MR. MCLEOD!!! Please do not talk about it at school or ask him about it in anyway, he has no idea this is happening!
