Matisse in Moscow at The Bolshoi

Hi everyone! My name is Matisse Love and I am 16 years old. Recently, I received a summer scholarship to train with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive at Juilliard in New York for 6 weeks. I was honored enough to be given 1st place female out of the whole entire program and a full scholarship to train in Moscow for two weeks and perform in their Spring gala! Crazy enough, the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow just offered me a three year contract with their school to train and become a graduate of theirs. The Bolshoi Ballet Academy is THE MOST famous, the most exclusive, and one of the oldest schools in the world. (It's like the Harvard or Yale of ballet!) This is one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me and I never ever thought that I would be training in a school as renowned and celebrated as the Bolshoi.
           
           However, the costs of tuition, airfare, international visas, online high school to graduate, pointe shoes, uniforms, etc. are extraordinary. I have been living in two separate households for ten years and although my parents are so supportive and loving, it is just too hard for them to cover everything financially themselves. As a full time honors and AP high school student, I, too, have been contributing myself financially to help supplement my ballet career while working as a dancer, actress, model, and teacher to young ballerinas. Any donations, small or large, would help me so much to continue my journey of pursuing my dreams and I would be forever and eternally grateful. My goal is to become one of the greatest American ballerinas and accepting this incredible offer is one step closer to fulfilling my dream. I am so thankful and appreciative for those taking an interest in my life. Thank you.
