17 May 2017 Update:
Greetings!
I'm so grateful for all the love and support I've received thus far. It means more than I can express. Unfortunately the generous donations have come in too far apart for the main repair to be done. Due to four months of absolutely zero income and basic living expenses of about $500/month plus the IRS, another $1000 has been added to the original total. I've found a better price from a highly recommended shop - Bob's Transmission on Plainfield in Grand Rapids. Bob will accept credit card deposits toward my repair from anyone wishing to do so. I'm hopeful to raise $2000 in the next two weeks to end this cycle. Please contact me if a short term loan is possible. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. Sharing the campaign is a huge help. Thank you again! I am deeply grateful for the kind words, prayers and support. You've helped me keep my chin up. Love & blessings to you. ❤️
Greetings, friends:
As most of you are aware, I have been driving for Lyft and Uber for a living for nearly 18 months. This allows me the flexibility necessary to work while living with the effects of Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer; in particular extreme, often debilitating fatigue and frequent nausea/vomiting, as well as pain. I have no family to fall back on and have exhausted all other options.
I have been unable to work for two months and am now in crisis. My transmission requires a rebuild ($2850 + tax) and my windshield needs replacement for me to continue to support myself and avoid homelessness. If you are able to help, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm struggling to keep my chin up. Please share with those you believe are compassionate. I sincerely thank you for any assistance at this time. No amount is too small! I have no income whatsoever at present.
GoFundMe charges 8% of donations, therefore if you'd like to use Venmo or PayPal, which do not charge for bank or debit card transactions, my information is:
Venmo: @Candice-Cullen
PayPal: [email redacted]
You have my sincerest gratitude.
