Missions Trip to Haiti
Donation protected
Hello friends and family. I would like to announce that I am going back to the motherland, my beautiful home island of Haiti. And I need your help to make a lasting impact on the people of Haiti.
I am honored to be working with an amazing organization called Foundation for Peace (FFP). FFP has been working in Haiti since 2006 and they have already built 4 schools, 2 churches, and 2 water purification facilities.
The work in Haiti is not done however, and I would like to contribute all that I can during my time there. This cause is near and dear to my heart as I will be able to give back to the nation that birthed me. I am passionate about this mission and I believe that with your help, we can build a better future for Haiti.
Our mission team will not only participate in a Construction project, but we will also be facilitating a Women’s Conference that will teach women about their physical health and hygiene and also teach them the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. We will coordinate a VBS/Children’s Rallies where we will teach the children about the dangers of physical and sexual abuse. We will be providing a Mobile Eye Care Clinic, as well as distributing Care Packages & Food to remote communities in most need in the Fond Parisien and Ganthier regions of Haiti (1 hour from Port-au-Prince).
Your contribution will make all this possible. I would greatly appreciate your donation to the cause. Any amount, however big or small will help.
The trip will be taking place July 8-17, 2016, and the deadline for donations is May 20th, 2016. My goal is to raise a total of $2000. The money you donate will go to:
- Construction materials (for schools and churches)
- Supplies for educational seminars and workshops
- Medical supplies
- Basic necessities ( soap, underwear, hygienic materials)
- Housing
- Food
- Flight and transportation
$20 can help to purchase rice and beans for 3 needy families. A gift of $50 will buy concrete blocks or cement. $100 will help us to secure needed supplies for our medical clinic. Contributions are tax deductible gifts.
I also ask you to please pray for our trip preparation, team participation, and our stay in Haiti. I thank you for your time, and I am looking forward to the changes we can make together. God bless you!
