In Honor of Murishi
Donation protected
My name is Jean Ntahondereye and my wife Nyandwi Josephine are from Burundi and we came to American as refugees seeking peace and freedom.
Our son Murishi, moved here with us in 2009. He was an active member of the African Baptist Church of Kansas City, leading the choir as well as a mentor for the children. He took English classes at Penn Valley Community College. Murishi was also our primary means of support and translator.
On December 14, 2015, we lost our son, Murishi Sylvestre. He was a victim of a homicide. He was returning home from church with his school books, bible and food in hand when he was shot.
Now we are in a situation where we will have to bury him and we are seeking help. We need to raise $6,600 in order to give him a proper burial and service.
We would love to have your sympathy and help with funding because Murishi was not just a son to us but he was a sibling and son to our community in Kansas City. Please help as you can and help us fund burying our son who will be greatly missed.
