I was playing catch with my dogs, as I do almost daily when one tripped on the way down and couldn't get up.'
I brought him quickly to the vets and am told he fractured a hip. All told, surgery, meds, overnight stays, etc will cost me $4500.00 I can come up with most of it but need help with the rest. By the end of today, after having sold a few things I'll have $3300.00 and that leaves me with $1200.00 to come up with by Monday at the latest.
He's the blue eyed sweetheart in the attached picture. I can pick him up on Monday if I can accept the fees. Otherwise they can put him down for $150.00 which includes cremation. The thought of having to do this is tearing me up.
He's only 6 years old. I adopted them both to keep me company and so that they have each other when I can't be home, which is rare because I am agoraphobic, which means I only go out when I absolutely need to, such as doctor's appointments, hospital stays, groceries.
I am on a very small pension and have managed just fine until this happened. Please help me save my dog's life.
My furbabies have been with me since they were 6 weeks old. They are all the family I have left. I am hoping and praying that God's light leads someone to help me and Diesel out. I'm not ready to say goodbye to him. Not even close. Same goes for his brother Thunder.
There are no words that could describe my gratitude for a miracle if you help out. While I always do my best to foster strays, losing him will be so hard to bare. I don't have enough money to pay anyone back but you would be forever in my prayers should you decide to save Diesel's life.
I have never asked for anything for myself but am selfishly doing so now. Help me keep Diesel for many more years to come.
UPDATE: My parents' wedding bands sold for more than I thought they would. I can't think of anything else to heep
