Win The Future, Young America works to achieve a high, uniform turnout rate among the entire voting age population.
Millennials demonstrate an absolute lack of voting power; compared to the baby boomer generation, millennials effectively have no voice, because we're not voting. It's time to change that. We are a large percentage of the American people, and we deserve to be heard. Let's make the candidates cater to our needs, wants, and visions.
Win the Future, Young America strives to turn the tide in voting culture. Voting should be, "more party than political." Our goal is to throw pre-election day and election day events to remind people to celebrate our democracy!
We are planning a 5K and festival day for Arlington in September, to get people excited about the upcoming Virginia election in November; run a couple miles, eat some awesome food, and hear some local music. Have fun! Then, after hitting the polls in November, treat yourself to a pub crawl! Our right to vote is an amazing civil liberty; don't forget to reward yourself for taking the time participate in your government.
