Your life can change in the matter of seconds. Your families life can change in a matter of seconds. The phone call that I had gotten on June 1st from my uncle telling me that my cousin, lifelong friend got into a serious car wreck and got life flighted to Bryan West trama center changed my familes views on life that instant. Melvin Shafer II was driving to work in Kansas when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a ditch. He rolled his jeep 4 times and was thrown from the Vehicle. He was later flown to Lincoln Nebraska where he would need extensive treatment and would remain in ICU as he was on life support and in a Coma. 3 weeks later he is still in a coma but got moved to Madonna Rehabilitation Services. We are still hope full that he will come through this. It will be a long and winding road of trials and tribulations for his recovery but we have faith that he will pull through.

 

As any person knows, hospital bills can add up very quickly. I am here to try and help him out as much as possible and asking you guys to help out as much as possible, as he will more than likely never be able to work again to pay these off with the damage that has happened to his brain. Any amount that we receive will go directly to his hospital bills and home modifications.
