Hope For Joseph

This cute little guy is named Joseph! He just happens to be my cousin! I am so proud to have him as my amazing cousin! We FaceTime almost everyday from the hospital and even though he is constantly hooked up to IV’s and an oxygen mask he is almost always smiling and getting me to smile with him! He and his family need all the help you can give him! Before we go into detail about Joseph’s story, His family and his cousin Benjamin (me) would like to say, whoever may be reading this, if you can not give any kind of money, we simply ask you to pray and like and share his story! That way Joseph and his story can be seen to those who can help support him!
Joseph was born in Beirut Lebanon on May, 28th, 2014 and has been struggling for the past 2 years with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID) due to mutation in gene SP110. This is a very rare disorder and has caused life threatening infection specifically the development of liver fibrosis. Joseph for the majority of his life has been in and out of the hospital in Beirut Lebanon, until finally the hospitals there could no longer be of help. Joseph and his family hit a wall, they did not know where to go, until: they found Cleveland Clinic. This gave hope to Joseph! Joseph and his family took the risky 18-hour trip from Lebanon to Cleveland and he was admitted to the hospital immediately.
So what is the future for Joseph? His future depends on your help! Joseph and his family left Lebanon to be able to provide Joseph with the best medical support from Cleveland Clinic in the United States of America. The only cure for (SCID) Severe Combined Immune Deficiency, is allogeneic bone marrow transplant from a healthy, matched donor. There is only one more thing that is holding Joseph from becoming a healthy child. That is Medical payments. Joseph’s Mother (Jimmy) and Father (Roy) have given everything they have toward medical bills and they have no insurance, because they are not American citizens. These medical bills include, Pre-and post operative testing, surgeon’s fees, Hospital fees, anesthesia, operating room, medications, supplies and hospitalization stay. Although the number is high anything that can be given towards Joseph will be very appreciated and is one step closer to allowing Joseph to live a normal healthy life. All documents related to the surgery can be provided including doctor’s notes, Cleveland Clinic cost estimation and detailed bills.
“WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU, ALL WE HAD, WE PAID TO SEE ONE MORE MAGICAL SMILE ON JOSEPH’S FACE.”
Every donation is greatly appreciated and is a step closer to saving my cousin Joseph’s life. If you can not give, then I ask you to simply like and share his story for those who potentially can. Let’s show Joseph and his family what America does best, Americans love to help people in need and I have faith that many people will help save my cousins life.
Thank you,
