Help my twin fight lyme disease.
Almost two years ago, my 32 years old twin sister Simtee and mother of two beautiful kids was bitten by a tick the size of a poppy seed in north London which derailed her life and left her bedridden for a few months.It took her nearly a year to get a proper diagnosis of late stages of neurological Lyme disease and has been on strong anti biotics for the last 8 months and unfortunately her immune system has weakened and her body is no longer able to fight off the infection. There is currently no cure for Lyme disease but pioneering treatment in Germany and America has had some success rates of suppressing the Lyme disease. She urgently requires immune system modulation that will help strengthen her immune system, hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy, ozone therapy, detoxification of heavy metals and toxins ,stem cell therapy and whole body hyperthermia therapy.These treatments are not available in the Uk .There is currently no Lyme literate doctor in the uk. Lyme disease if caught early and treated straight away with just two weeks of strong antibiotics would have cured her immediately.she saw about 10 doctors, was in and out of hospital and doctors couldnt figure out what was wrong with her. One doctor gave her anti depressant telling her its all in her head. She took matters in her own hands when she started feeling really ill and couldn't remember how to do simple everyday tasks that she realised there was something seriously wrong with her.she then contacted Breakspear medical a private clinic in Hemel Hempstead to get tested. The private clinic sent her blood samples to America and Germany and the results came back positive.
Recent tests done at the same clinic has shown high levels of mercury, nickel, benzoate and potassium in her body. She also has viral infections and other co-infections like babesia and bartonella.
Lyme disease or Lyme borreliosis, is a bacterial infection spread to humans by infected ticks. It affects the nervous system , the brain and the heart and if left untreated it can also cause death.The bacteria can become resistant to anti biotics and hide in skin tissues. Her debilitating symptoms are insomnia,chest pain, joint pain, brain fog, twitching, palpitations, a heart rate of 90 at rest, extreme fatigue, short term memory loss,slurred speech,weakened arms and legs, tingling and numbness in her arms and legs, floaters in her eyes, migraines , pressure like headaches,low levels of carbon dioxide,dizziness, loss of perception and sensation in her hands,panic attacks,weakened muscles ,anxiety, sensitivity to light and strong smells and quite often suicidal.she was unable to do simple tasks like having a shower or brushing her hair. She is currently on 60 tablets a day and has tried all the natural remedies under the sun to no avail. Lyme disease is slowly eating her organs away.
Getting treatment in Germany would mean coming off the tablets slowly and once the immune system is strengthened her body will do the healing slowly and make it more manageable. I believe my twin sister Simtee is a strong woman and is willing to try anything to heal completely and is too young to give up.I want her to live longer and see her two young and beautiful kids grow up.
I have seen her at her weakest point and my heart breaks to see her in this condition. At one point she thought she was dying and started talking about her funeral songs.I want her to heal as soon as possible so we can go back to our usual normal life, i want her to laugh and enjoy life just like before!! She is not only my sister but also my best friend. I want her to fight off this horrible disease which has not only turned her life upside down but is also affecting her family.
