My Family Needs Your Help

Hello, my name is Danielle. These three beautiful little children in the picture are my babies. My heart and soul, split three ways, living - breathing - laughing and being amazing in three tiny bodies. I would do anything for them. Which is why I'm here, doing something that I thought I would never do. I am asking for help from people I've known my whole life, people I've met through work and people I've gotten to know across the globe via the inter web. I don't know what to do. I've exhausted every avenue before me trying to get help. Resources available in our county have been depleted due to the fire that happened in Nov/Dec of 2018 in Paradise, CA. There is nothing left to help my little family.. currently we are living in the same house we have been living in since April of 2018, some of you may know what we have been going through, but for those who don't - allow me to explain.

Just weeks before the fires took out Paradise, our contact with the realtor company that our landlord goes through emailed me to inform me that the landlord was considering selling the house we lived in, but that we were in a lease so we would be okay until April of 2019 (which has now passed). During our time in this home, we've made beautiful memories, but they weren't without stress or fear of becoming homeless because soon after we started acquiring late fees for things that we didn't even know were late. We were given a "receipt" for these late fees to explain why they were over $800, so we paid what we could, which was $700. However, paying those late fees meant we couldn't pay our utility bill so soon we got a shut off notice from the utility company a few weeks later. While we were trying to find a way to pay for our Utilities and trying to also come up with an extra $100 to pay what we owed to our landlord, I received another email saying that we owed over $700. In one month we ended up paying over $2200 to our landlord alone and we had to take out a second loan in order to pay them AND pay our utilities.

So while we are paying on two loans, the first from a year ago is close to being paid off, unfortunately the second we haven't even started to pay off yet (this being a personal loan from a friend with whom we do have a contract with) only to have another email sent from the contact lady from our landlord saying that we have been going over our $50 water allotment or allowance every month. I was not given a amount that we went over. I was given no proof. I informed my husband and he said he would talk to the person himself. Then earlier last month (April 11th 2019) I received another email saying that they were going to send out someone to check for a water leak. No one showed up until May 1st 2019. And on the same day this person came to check for a water leak, we were served with an unlawful detainer stating that we owed almost $1700!! They're saying we didn't pay any rent in April, which isn't true. It was late, however that was only because one number was left off the account number it was to be deposited in. We told the contact person what had happened an when we would have it corrected by and when it was corrected. And they're saying we owe almost $600 for the month of March, however we have receipts showing we paid our full rent in March! And today, I received a letter from the water company saying that there is a past due amount of $310 remains unpaid and that if it's not paid our water will be shut off as of May 14th 2019!

We have three children and a dog. Our two boys are high functioning Autistic, and our daughter and eldest son have ADHD. We only are just seeing improvement in our eldest son. With just the prospect of having to move, again, it's going to disrupt his schedule and affect everything from his moods, his sleep pattern (he suffers from Night Terrors), to his school performance and his relationships with us, his family. And our youngest is non-verbal and lacks social skills. He won't stay with anyone other than myself or my husband or he has full on meltdowns/anxiety attacks which has kept me from finding employment. We have been trying to get him in with Autistic Specialists since he was 2 years old, but have been getting the run around and slammed doors until recently we found someone who is trying to help us get our son the help he needs. We are trying desperately here. We are in no means perfect, but we give and do everything for our children. The anxiety and stress we have been trying to keep from our children is slipping through the cracks. We are looking at becoming homeless with no where to go and no where to turn. Our families cannot help us. Those that we consider close friends have tried, but cannot help in the way that we need it (providing shelter while we try to find a new place or help us with money issues.)  We would like to raise at least $2300 to pay these fee's and to prevent our water from being shut off before May 11th! Please, anything helps and we appreciate any support!
