2,500-Mile Hike Through History
5,000 years. 2,500 miles. One woman. (And her two feet.)
I’ll be walking an epic hike across Britain, one which has never been attempted before.
Walking 2,500 miles, I'm currently tracing the timeline of Britain in chronological order, walking through the Bronze Age, Iron Age, the Roman years and eight other major epochs.
My journey started in the Shetland Islands, Scotland, in May 2017 and will end in modern-day London, covering 5,000 years of historical importance.
On this never-previously attempted journey, I'll be walking for about 12 months.
Funds will go towards my kit, food, the occasional hostel (which will be luxurious after many nights in a tent) and ferry costs - I'm not mad enough to swim to the islands as well!
I'd like to say a huge thank you if you choose to donate. You rock!
