Helping Homer

On July 12th my 82 year old grandfather, Homer Donehue, came outside to walk his dog as he does daily and was struck down by a gunman firing at someone else. There he laid on the grown for over 27 minutes without receiving any oxygen while both police and paramedics were nearby. As a result his brain was deprived from oxygen which caused him to have several heart attacks and strokes. He fought for 2 weeks until he succumbed to his injuries. Though this has been a tragedy none of us seen coming, we are so very grateful to have spent our time with the most loving, independent, hardworking, wholesome man we've ever known. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart Clara and 4 generations of offsprings. He was the definition of a great man. He took care of everything at home . We are asking for donations for a new roof and other bills that was a result of this tragedy. This will give my grandmother a little relief from this heartbreak, and financial burden.
