My name is Brandi. I'm a little over 30 years old, and I'm trying to go back to college so that I can make a difference in my life and, hopefully, the lives of others.
I'm an artist, and illustration is my dream. I've been taking freelance art jobs for a while now, but it's hard to find regular work and, well, I'll admit it -- anxiety doesn't always make working a normal 9-to-5 easy. But I want to get a degree and put myself in a position where I'm not uncertain about my future holds.
I'm not asking for my tuition to be funded, or for books. I'm asking for a little help to get me to class. $1000 dollars is a lot to me right now, but it's enough to get me a car that will take me where I need to go. I don't want anything pretty, I don't need the latest model: I just need a reliable set of wheels.
