My name is Betty-Ann Sanderson, I am the grandmother of Simone Sanderson, who was murdered and whose body was found on Burrows and Main Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on September 2, 2012.
After nearly 3 years of no leads from the Winnipeg Homicide Unit the family has decided to hire a private investigator to reignite the murder case of Simone Sanderson.
The family has grown tired with the way the investigation has been handled from the beginning and are seeking answers themselves, with the help of private investigator, J. Duncan. There has been confident reassurance from our PI who feels strongly about the direction in which she can take Simone Sanderson’s case, the direction the family has been hoping it would go for the last 2.5 years.
The family refuses to let the case of Simone Sanderson grow cold any longer, She was a Mother, Daughter,Grand Daughter, Sister, and Friend. Taken too soon at 23 years old, Simone had dreams of completing her education and raising her only son, Nigel Jr. She enjoyed family and spending her time around her loved ones.
In order for our private investigator to proceed with the private investigation of Simone’s case, a retainer of $1,000 is required. Our family is seeking the help of our community, friends and family to assist in offsetting the total amount required. Any monies raised will be put towards the private investigation into Simone's Case, which consists of but is not limited to: An entire case review, review of evidence from the crimescene and personal content of Simone's, statements and testimonies at the time of the murder and much more. Once a foundation is set with the old evidence and information the new investigation will commence. To start the new investigation will look into leads that the family has gained over the past 2 years from community sources, as well as interview and retrieve statements from witnessess who were never contacted by the Homicide Unit.
As the new investigation proceeds, the family thanks you for you're continued support and prayers for Justice. On behalf of the Sanderson Thank you and God Bless.
