Vallejo Youth Sports Diplomacy Asia
Donation protected
A team of all girl basketball players from several Vallejo high schools and a Vallejo Taekwondo team, along with coaches, parents, Vallejo City Council members and other Vallejo Sister City representatives, will be heading to Asia in July 2018 for goodwill and competitive sports matches in celebration of Sister City Relation Anniversaries.
The plan is for the group, comprised of seven basketball players and nine martial artists to visit three of Vallejo’s Sister Cities — Akashi, Japan, Jincheon, South Korea and Baguio, Philippines as citizen sports diplomats.
The group needs to raise some $2,800 per child, after each child pays $1,000 themselves toward the trip. In total, $50,000 is needed and the group has already raised half of it.
We are asking for your support to reach our goal of the remaining $25,000 by July 5, 2018.
The Vallejo Sister City Association is a non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible 501(c)(3) 94-2570248.
We Thank You for your support!
