Women Soccer Player Needs your Help
Donation protected
We are the Women’s SFC Rangers and we are asking for support from the general public as well as our fellow soccer communitee to help raise funds for our friend and teammate.
She's a young female who came to Canada as a refugee from Africa. Having played soccer in her home country all her life she wanted to continue playing here in her new country and reached out to our women’s SFC Ranger team and earned her self a spot.
A male acquaintance lured her into his apartment on the pretext of giving her a ride to her game and brutally atacked her.
Even with life threatening injuries she was able to escape the room when neighbors heard her cries for help.
Our teammate is currently recovering from serious injuries at the hospital where she will remain for approximately 1 month. With no family here in Canada her teammates have rallied around her to become her family and support structure.
To help our teamate and friend get back on her feet the Women’s SFC Rangers have started a campaign to raise funds to assist in her recovery and are appealing to the public to help us.
Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for taking the time to view this page and please keep our friend in your prayers. We’ll keep you updated on her progress and let you know when she makes a full recovery!
