Here we go. ....2017 will be a big year with your support. Kris is now 14 years old and a freshman at Bishop Alemany high school. He's looking to earn a college scholarship and the best way to do that is to play on the AJGA tour.
AJGA is the top tour for juniors golfers across the country. It's where the best of the best play. https://www.ajga.org/index-normal.asp
In order to even play on this tour, you have to earn your way on. Kris has done just that. It's based on a star system, where the more stars you have the more exclusive the tournament you can qualify to play.
Most tournaments are out of state and multiple day events. The cost for registration is anywhere from $250 to $300. You add that to the cost of travel and accommodations as well as practice rounds and you can understand the cost adds up fast. I'm hoping he can play in 3 events this season.
