Yarn for Wildlife Rescue Nests
Donation protected
About our cause:
Since 2013 I have gathered a large dedicated network of knitters and crocheters that create nests for birds, squirrels, bunnies, and other small mammals to donate to wildlife rescues. We are currently distributing nests to over 340 wildlife rescues in Canada, the United States, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Italy, India, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica. The only thing we ask for in return from the wildlife rescues is a few pictures of little ones in the nests, as they are shared on Wildlife Rescue Nests Facebook page to help promote our cause.
Here is a link to our Facebook page, where you can find lots of pictures of the nests being used. www.facebook.com/wildliferescuenests
You can also visit us on our website to:
Register to receive nests from our network of vounteers if you are a wildlife rescue
OR
Register as a volunteer with us to have access to our patterns, mailing list of wildlife rescues and our tally sheets showing which nests have been requested for each rescue.

Many volunteers are using up yarn from old projects, scraps and such, but there are quite a few of us that are very dedicated to making these nests and we have used up all of our extra yarn and are now purchasing yarn, so we can keep making the nests. Each package of nests, depending on package size and destination, typically costs between $10-$20 to ship.
Thank you for supporting Wildlife Rescue Nests' Volunteers!
