Helping Ashley

Ashley is one of my best employees. Over Easter weekend, she was attacked in a parking garage, resulting in broken legs. On Easter she had to have emergency surgery to repair a broken fibula and tibia. A day she should have been spending with her kids, celebrating.
As a single mother, who is also a server, her income is relied upon greatly. She’ll be out of work for several months as she heals and undergoes physical therapy.
Because this happened short of her 1 year anniversary with us, she doesn’t qualify for fmla benefits.
Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. She’s a wonderful mother and such a hard worker. Something like this could happen to anyone of us.
