Help for Padmapani

Padmapani das is one of the early pioneering teachers in Canada of the Krishna Consciousness movement. Padmapani is not only in need of immediate medical help, but due to his impoverished condition, is alone with no more family members to help him, and has little food to eat after the rent is paid.

Padmapani joined Krishna Consciousness in 1973 and served in Canada, England, and the Middle East with Tribhuvanatha, Nikhilananda, Ravanari and Anuttama prabhus . Padmapani even continued preaching in Beirut and Cairo when everyone left and he was alone. He is now 61  and struggles with very ill health, having almost left his body three times from illness, while trying to care for his aging and ill mother, who is now deceased, living in poverty stricken conditions. Padmapani has given his whole life to the distribution of his spiritual master's (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami) books and spiritual philosophy of Bhakti yoga and continues so to this moment, without thought of his own health or material happiness. 

A group of Krishna devotees here in Canada will be able to help him with the funds raised which will all go directly to Padmapani to buy food, medication, and medical help and hopefully better living conditions.
