Zakaria Deng’s funeral costs

For the past few years Zakaria has been battling Scleroderma, an autoimmune disease which mainly affected his skin.  We didn’t know it would result in his death. 

On Sunday 12th August 2018 we heard the news that our beloved Zakaria Deng had died.  On the week of his death, he had not been feeling well. He was vomiting and on Thursday 9 August while in the kitchen he callasped and an ambulance was called to take him to The nearest hospital. We thought he had a flu. 

After being admitted at the Sunshine hospital, he received general check up and further tests where conducted. We were advised on Friday that his body was not functioning normally. On the the Saturday, we were told that his getting better, but on Sunday morning we were told to come into the hospital and we were told that he was not stable on his own anymore, but they will try to get him back into a stable position.  A couple of hours after we were given the news that a family is never ready to hear, that there was nothing further they could do to save him.

Zakaria was only 28 years of age, and is survived by his four year old son, Deng.
