Noah's fight

On August 16th our 2 year old baby Noah started developing a limp. The pediatricians thought it was a sprained ankle and didn't think much of it. They requested some X rays of his hips and legs, but unfortunately weren't able to see anything. His blood test had come back anemic, they were confused as this wasn't related to iron deficiency and Noah had always been a very healthy boy.
On September 16th, I woke up to change Noah's diaper, only to find purple bruising all over his groin area, and his right leg (limp leg) was swollen double the size of the left. Immediately my husband and I took him to the emergency room, and after many hours of exams the doctor tells us Noah has a 10cm tumor sitting on his adrenal glands. It is so big and dense that it's pressing over the arteries on the right leg therefore inhibiting blood circulation.
We were then transferred to Children's hospital in Los Angeles. After another series of in depth tests to determine the type of cancer the oncologists were able diagnose it as a Stage 4 High risk Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue. We were told the tumor has spread to his neck, head, arms, spinal cord and leg. The treatment is 18 months long involving 8 cycles chemotherapy, surgery to remove tumor, followed by radiation, bone marrow transplant and lastly immune therapy.
The cancer has weakened the bone in the right leg creating a fracture of the top femur and hip, which led to the limping. He is now immobilized and going through treatment. He can't sit or walk, he is only allowed to lay down. We are now fighting the hardest and most painful battle of our life.
In one single second our lives changed forever. Every parent that goes through this battle with cancer with their child understands the depth of the pain and the strength one needs to find to fight for those dearest to you heart. He is the greatest light of my life and I ask for your help so that we can all save his life together.
