It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Ivy Gernhard (wife of recent FAA new hire ZJX NATCA member David Gernhard, and sister of recent FAA new hire ZHU NATCA member Sean Cannon) passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. Ivy was visiting her family in South Carolina when she suffered an apparent pulmonary embolism (blood clot to the lungs).

Ivy leaves behind her husband David and 6 month old twins.
